Musical Theatre training is often described as triple threat, meaning that a proficiency in singing, acting and dancing is undertaken.  Following last Fall’s very successful pilot project, this updated 10-week intensive Musical Theatre Training Course will stretch and challenge aspiring performers whether you have tread the floorboards before or not!  You will work with professionals developing skills in singing, dance and choreography, acting, improv and scene study.  Be prepared to stretch in new directions … sometimes literally!

This course is specially designed to be repeated as often as the student wishes.  Although the overall structure of the course will remain the same, the actual content – songs, scenes, choreography, etc. – will change. This allows you to keep honing your skills while learning fresh, exciting material term after term!

Musical Theatre Ensemble

The newly formed TTSS Music Theatre Ensemble will present performances of fully staged original productions,
‘book’ musicals, in-concert musicals, revues and music-theatre cabaret shows.

This hugely talented troupe presented a sparkling original musical-revue play There’s Always A Silver Lining
to sold-out houses at the Annex Theatre in April 2017.  A few audience comments:

“What a show!  I had such a great time at There's
Always a Silver Lining on Friday night -
     what a talented cast!”

“Very skillfully written script and music selection with
just the right blend of humour and emotion.
I loved it.  And so much acting and vocal talent!”

Musical Theatre Ensemble (2016)

“The ensemble was excellent and it was clear you drew on/out the strengths and talents of each member to make
it so. They put heart and soul into their singing, dancing and acting and looked fabulous!”
